I never thought I'd live in Israel, but here I am and I love it. I love being with my man and soaking up this fascinating country.
I am a professional science communicator working with scientists to create accurate and easy to read communication material.
At university I studied Ecology, Psychology and Science Communication, and after a year in the Science Circus I have worked for science festivals, interactive science centres, science organisations and consulting companies.
My skills include writing and editing grant proposals, web content, fact sheets, feature articles and media releases, and also in creating communication strategies, science events, science activities for children, and science show performances.
I started my Adventure Jo blog 2005 to share my experiences living and travelling overseas. Now I'm enjoying writing about Israeli culture and life in Tel Aviv.
